What is removed
Your name, phone number, email address, any address you gave us, our notes from talking to you, and the contents of every message between us.
What we keep, and why
That an enquiry existed, its suburb and postcode, the dates, and whether an appointment happened — the record of what an installer was charged for. None of it names you, and we cannot remove it without destroying our own books.
The installer you were introduced to
They hold their own copy under their agreement with us. Ask them directly: they are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as we are. Tell us if they do not act and we will chase it.
