Rebates and what you are paid in Western Australia
The federal scheme takes money off the price before you pay it, so a quote you are shown almost certainly has it deducted already — ask for it as its own line so you can see it. The amount turns on your postcode, the size of the system and the year, and it steps down every January, which is why there is no figure printed on this page that would be wrong by February. The current rules are at the Clean Energy Regulator.
Western Australia may run its own household programs on top of that, with their own eligibility and their own paperwork. They change, and an installer who works there deals with them weekly — so ask which ones apply to your address, and ask them to show it on the quote.
